I respect Joe Cortez opinion but this is nonsense...:comeon:

Algieri poses absolutely no threat to Pacquiao...His only chance is if Pacquiao pulls a Tyson/Douglas and doesn't train for this fight...He's got a long jab but he's featherfisted thus won't be able to keep Pacquiao off him just like he couldn't keep Provo off him...He'll be fighting off his back foot for however long this joke of a fight lasts...It's also worth noting this kid is extremely easy to hit, just look at what Provo did to him who isn't anywhere near as good a boxer Pacquiao is...

Exactly.

This fight should be easy work for Pacquiao. Algieri shouldn't even had gotten the victory over Provodnikov imo

Pac should win this pretty easily and if he doesn't then I guess we can say that he's finished as an elite fighter.

nikkas still sleeping on #AlgeiriAssassins :scust:

Dude is the best pure boxer at 140.

If Manny beats him, it's a solid victory but nothing more or less than that. nikkas is acting like Pac is fighting Jessie Vargas :mjlol:

How ironic, being that Jessie Vargas is saying that he was told by Bob Arum that he could be Manny's next opponent:russ:

:wow:

Believe everything Arum says brehs. :mjlol:

I won't indulge you like Black Jesus does. I know full damn well you don't respect #AlgieriAssassins so I won't try an convince you since your mind is already made up.

Vargas was just fed some typical fukkery so he can keep winning. That decision stealing nikka ain't no closer to a Manny fight than you or me. :pachaha:

Actually, Algieri is growing on me. Went back and watched some footage on him, some of his fights, and he IS the best pure boxer at 140.

His defense nor power isn't that good, he does have some "snap" on his punches though, but I think that it should be an easy fight for Manny.....IF he's the old aggressive Manny still.

If he intends on boxing with Algieri, like he did Rios and Bradley, he's gonna lose imo. He's gonna have to attack Algieri, use his diminutive stature to duck under Algieri's long arms, and use his speed and body work to keep Algieri off his toes until he becomes a more stationary target, THEN later in the fight, Pacquiao can go in for the kill.

Algieri is a good fighter though. I was wrong on him.....blame my lack of exposure to him:yeshrug:

:salute: glad to see you come to your senses breh. If only some of these other posters could admit their short comings with certain fighters and do their research on them instead of dismissing them. This is what real boxing fans do.

I also agree with you on how Manny should approach this fight.
