That's cash though. His cap hit for the Jets this year will be $15M.

The Packers will have him count for $40M on the cap this year after the trade is done. And their cap will be clear of him after this season.
I don’t think he wants play here.

Maybe he says fukk it and decides to do it but I personally don’t think he really wants to play for the Jets

He Will Announce Tomorrow, ESPN Got Yall All Up In Arms

“Rodgers is scheduled to make $59.515 million in 2023. The window to exercise this option is the first day of the 2023 league year (March 15) until a day before Green Bay’s first 2023 regular season game in September”

I Thought Adam Schefter Knew Everything, He Can’t Make This Clear Or Are The Ratings Pop Too Good?

He made up his mind, he just wants to be the one to break it. He's made it clear don't fukk with Schefter or Rapoport. And to be fair, alot of players feel the same way :manny:

And honestly, between Aaron Rodgers and Lamar Jackson, this offseason showed me the NFL needs their own version of Shams (a players reporter). Schefter and Rapoport are credible, but they're more like Woj in that they get their info from front offices. Especially Schefter, who acts as a teams mouthpieces whenever there's an impasse between a team and a player :beli:
well it kinda goes to shyt when everyone knows what you're gonna do anyway. Now if Rodgers was gonna retire and wanted to break that news, then it's a big deal, or if he was going somewhere else all along, but everyone can put 2 and 2 together except for Rodgers.

Sauce: We building a Superbowl team right?

Aaron: Sure, unless Jaire wants out. Have you tried Spotted Cow from New Glarus, because your going be drinking a ton trying to find anything fun in Green Bay.

Sauce: :damn:
