Yeah That's the only part that didn't click with me. If the objective was to make her out as an ugly duckling when she was younger than glowed up they definitely picked the wrong actress . Shannon Thornton is unnaturally beautiful like a real life barbie doll. I can't see how any young brehs wouldn't be choosing on her hard. I definitely would be

I watched on of DL Hughley's scenes in Johnson, but I never went back to the show. Since you said it's a good show for the brehs, I'll give it another shot!
