Above the fray.
I'll never understand this mentality. Wtf are "black male moguls" doing for the black community at large? They are hardcore supporters of the capitalist system that will never bring salvation for the majority of blacks, point blank period. And I've worked in finance for almost 20 years. Other than people living vicariously through them, they're not supporting anything that will help the masses of people (hint: because it may mean reducing their profits). Additionally, many of them support right wing economics and their debunked "trickle down" economic theory that's been long discredited and is responsible for the vast wealth inequality we see today.
No disrespect, but if you worked in Finance for that long, you would be a supporter of the same capitalist system. Unless you were educating the community at large about how to navigate the system or creating viable alternatives (co-ops, etc), your hands aren't clean from the taint you say is on the mogul's hand.

And finally, if they have engaged in criminal activity, which a lot of time is perpetrated against blacks, why the fukk would I care if they get prosecuted for it? Diddy been a piece of shyt. Just because he's a black mogul I'm supposed to be outraged at him facing consequences? Black people aren't some special group that doesn't have pieces of shyt in their ranks - and that includes wealthy celebrity black people. A lot of times they're some of the worst ones because they are complicit in the abuses that take place within the industry.

Because he ride the train you think he's down for the cause/cause his face look just like yours
Agree with this.
If the domino effect caused by the Cassie lawsuit didn't occur, the "y'all just want to tear down a Black man" commentary might be taken seriously. But since it did, and all those allegations were made public, raids on his homes shouldn't surprise anybody. And people's reactions to seeing a looming investigation of allegations made by multiple people are normal reactions. Not "wanting to tear down a Black man".

Not just people. Black people. black folks consume more social media than any other group and are easily controlled by it. They only go after and tear down other black people like crabs in a bucket. cacs know they can weaponize misinformation on social media to control black folks.

For example look at all the comments defending this prince harry cac below. All of a sudden gossip aint cool and folks should fact check before implicating prince harry.. But for diddy black folks believe a random dude shouting out the passengers side of a car.

You're correct as far as contributing to the system, but I don't fault people for trying to get ahead in this system, because people need to earn a living (there are egregious cases like working for Fox News or something but I'm talking about in general). I don't fault people for being wealthy. I do fault the wealthy that support policy designed to make them wealthier and wealthier at the expense of the masses.

I've canvassed for progressive candidates, I tutor kids in reading once a week, I support progressive candidates whenever possible, do other community volunteering, and try to make a difference where I can. The only way things change for the masses is through policy, and things like supporting unions and organizing.

Additionally, I would support candidates that would tax me more (depending on how the money is to be spent, of course) whereas no way in hell people like Jay or Diddy would and they are obviously worth a hell of a lot more than I am. However, for the greater good of society, I can make a few percentage points less.

Dude funny af tho

Nxgga... you know good and well that if minors are showing up, those are people his children invited, not him. They acting like he's a pervert old man sitting in a house preying on children and not that he lives there with his entire family who throws parties, has friends and have bus loads of hoes who want his sons on account of who their daddy is.

This the type of stuff that I'm talking about. And then all the shock daps this video got cause brehs are totally devoid of critical thinking. :snoop:

This is definitely a witch hunt on some level. And black people got their pitchforks out too. :snoop:

This is the real question. Man is just globetrotting like he’s untouchable.
Anyone else would be under the jail. It’s obvious they want what he has, not himself.
They probably watching and listening. You can learn a lot by observing a person in Puff's situation... :ohlawd:

50 is such an embarrassment to me. I remember reading about him in The Source, and buying his EP in 1999/2000, buying the How To Rob CD single. I was a fan for a long time.

but, to see him now, 15 or 20 years removed from any good music, a trail of unwatchable television,

it's not that he's against Jay or Puff or whatever, but the cute little IG shyt, all the emojis and all that, dude is just a joke. He's like an influencer. Look how someone like Jay moves and look at 50.
