The fact that people get their news from media outlets like these is disturbing.
Can't fly in a small jet from the West Coast to Cape Verde. You have to refuel somewhere where the law can't/won't come down on you, and that's more than likely where he stopped.

They are liabilities at this point.
He’s with people who would actually help him instead of slow him down. All of his kids rely on him and can’t fend for themselves without him intervening. So having them tag along (somewhere they don’t even want to go) is pointless.
And I’m sure for the sake of his adult sons he’s distancing himself in case the feds cook up some bootleg charges for them just for the hell of it.
