Cliffs: her theory is Clarence Avant wasn’t trying to step aside from whatever power role he had in LA. Diddy wanted that power and had his wife hit. Mind you she said all this before all of Diddy’s charges

That’s the far out theory….the more likely theory is pretty straight forward: Clarence Avant was Diddy’s protection and when he died it was finally green light time on Diddy by powerful people above him

Interesting sidenote is Gene deal in a completely unrelated story said it was Clarence Avant who got Diddy out of LA when Big got hit. So that lends some insight into the depth and longevity of their connection
