Few people have been able to sign to people and not be their son or lil bruh.
Kanye is one person who became a peer rather than a son. 50 became a peer under Em even though he fell off like 2 years later, but they are few. And Drake himself of course. Perhaps he was thinking about how he moved, Wayne really put on for him and then when he blew up he signed under Wayne (or really Birdman but you get the point).

Weeknd could've probably been on the same level under Drake but people wouldn't look at him in the same way. It wouldn't be "Weeknds movement" It would be OVOXO.
