Over a decade and a half later, how do we feel about Master P's "Ghetto D" album?

When nikkas who aint from the south speak on south shyt.

:sas2::skip:

yea you better put those words in small letters. too bad for you, my vision is 20/20.

you lil dweebs dont even know that i lived down south. thats how im able to expose all these southern posers on here that know dam well they stayed in the house.

Lol, did this nikka really say "Southern Chronic"? :mjlol:

Lames who don't know shyt about the South need to shut the fukk up

another house-boy that has no clue who hes talking to.

nor do you understand the correlation between the 2 albums that sparked the analogy. if you did, you wouldnt have responded on some dumb-dumb chit.

:aicmon:
Actin like kast and goodie mob didn't exist.
Nobody takes P music serious, shyt is trash.

kast & goodie mob didnt do chit to break the south thru breh.

nobody listened to dungeon family and checked out other non-related southern artists on the strength of it. if they did, then the south wouldve broke thru in '94-95 when dungeon family were at their peak.

most dungeon family fans on the outside dont even like the south.

outkast put on for their crew, but they didnt create any interest for their city, let alone their region.

I like it then and I like it now :yeshrug:

Never expected Master P to be a lyrical guy or give you anything but simple rhymes about his life. At the time I was young in HS and I just felt like Master P was real. He was rich, he really was a hustler, etc. While he was really going extra with the Pac/Thug stuff, so were a lot of people. He was just the most visible so he got the most shyt.

Now I look back on it with nostalgic glasses. Sometimes when I am working or driving around I don't want to have deep, thought provoking music. Sometimes I just want to feel the bass on Bourbans and Lacs, reciting simple lyrics that I still have memorized.
