This 5700 figure is almost certainly misleading. I wouldn't waste my time, but I'm betting that number includes children going on puberty blockers for whatever reason, or young boys having fatty tissue removed from the chest and pectorals.

It's all emotional appeals to get you upset about something that's not really harming 99.999% of kids.
