I've been saying since they first started Verzuz, if Tip gets into his production/ collab bag, someone is gonna have a night.



There's huge joints like 'Honey' by Mariah that he was involved with, that I had no idea he was on board for, the movie soundtrack work like 'Crooklyn Dodgers' and leftfield collabs like 'Groove Is In The Heart'. Dude has a Prince remix, a Stevie collab and 'Got Til It's Gone' w/ Janet and Dilla in the stash too

That's before we talk Mobb, Jay and Nas work too. As far as his current joints go, I'm partial to his songs with Roc Marci, but I don't think they will ring off in a battle like that. He even has an Andre collab he can play in 'Kids' off the last Tribe album.

If he plays the 'Scenario Remix' Dre and Big Boi are both gonna be . They got their deal rhyming for Rico off that instrumental.

I mean you say Kast are hit or Miss after the first three, well there’s people that only know the Stankonia and up stuff which is crazy to me but it is what it is. Big Boi adds all in my grill, Kast adds in due time, Stacks adds International Players Anthem and shyt will get interesting. At the end of the day both groups got jams for days. I’m in there vibing like I did with Jill vs Erykah.

Questlove played a 7 hour long Q-Tip set over the course of 2 nights to celebrate his 50th birthday at the beginning of the pandemic and dudes really think they don't have enough material to keep up.

This isn't true at all - I grew up in the UK, both groups were very highly regarded over there.

Both Kanye and Pharrell - two of the biggest producers of the 2000's, both from outside NY are hardbody Tribe stans.

Even Outkast are Tribe stans

I love tribe..but besides award tour, scenario, electric relaxation, vivrant thing...everything else is kinda only hitting to a certain crowd ...and that’s with tribe having probably 3 of like my personal top 10 favorite singles of all time (check the rhime, bonita etc.)
