Bow Down dog? Cmon now. Mad Skillz’ album is better than Bow Down for fukks sake.
I left a few albums off there (Stakes is High, Nocturnal, Episodes of a Hustla, Firing Squad) to try to appeal to a wider audience. I meant to add Riding Dirty on there too

And I like Bow Down, but I like ATLiens more.

Album is a classic

I think this is the album where a lot of Hip Hop heads frown upon because this was Kast's most accessible album before Speakerboxxx and LoveBelow

But this album sonically and production wise is so far ahead of everything, even today it still sounds so far ahead of everything else

Gasoline Dreams
Gangsta shyt
Tiolet Tisha
Spaghetti Junction
We Luv Deez Hoez
Red Velvet
Humble Mumble
B.O.B
So fresh So Clean
Slum Beautiful
Miss Jackson

And Stanklove, which is like some tripped out Funkadelic shyt. Early's 70's Funkadelic :banderas:

Album is timeless and by far their best sonically AND production wise.

breh hip hop heads didnt like atliens...

aquemini came... they didnt see the hype in the 5 mics or the quotable from dre.. so they started all of sudden showin atliens love again..

stankonia drops... they start sayin it wasnt fukkin with aquemini or atliens..their 2 best albums..

love below n speakerboxx dropped... they started lovin stankonia..didnt fukk with dre side kuz dre was singin..not realizin stacks was singin on aquemini and stankonia...

hip hop critics are jus that critics..they dont listen

i literally jus told boys..dre literally madea whole album about his relationships about keisha spivey and erykah badu...with the love below..n the last song where he rapped ...all he did is just gave a brief summary of the album...hell i even broke the love below down track by track...

Yeah, it was almost like as quick as fans could understand what they was doing musically, Kast had already turned the corner and flipped the script again.

Stankonia is one of those albums that was brilliant at the time it was released artistically AND connected commercially and continues to shines even more so with time because of just how far ahead of the curve they were creatively with that album.

And you right, it was like every time they dropped a new album, a lot of cats went back and then started loving the previous album more.

Blatant lie.

I see some of ya'll take the skit at the end of "Return of the G" and try to rationalize it as "Hip Hop heads" and the streets in general stopped listening to Kast at the point. That skit completely went over ya'lls heads.

Breh who said he wasn't listening to Kast anymore:

1) Wasn't really a fan in the first place

2) Didn't even fully grasp the first album

"If you think this is just pimpin hoes and slammin Cadillac doors, you probably a cracker or a nikka that think he a cracker"-- Big Rube

"First they was some pimps, then they was some genies, some alienspreaching that black, righteous, space..."--- random dude in the record store from "Return of the G"

^^^ Dude from the skit fully fit the description of what Big Rube was talking about on SPCM. The very next song after the skit is "Rosa Parks", which talks about being stuck in the past and while the world is moving forward, those who didn't see or anticipate change are stuck in the 'back of the bus' and end up "has beens". Without going into detail about it, it isn't a surprise why Rosa Parks' estate sued. Listening to the words, the song was kind of disrespectful even though there wasn't any ill intent towards her.

Crazy.
Hell on Earth, It Was Written and Reasonable Doubt are unquestionably better than ATLiens. Better beats, Rhymes, everything.

The others I can see an argument for. I’d probably take ATLiens over half of them.

Out of your list

Paid in Full and The Infamous are in my Top 10

Strictly Business, Midnight Marauders, Liquid Swords, 36 Chambers are in my Top 20
Well now I want to see your top 20 :prodigylol2:
But the point of listing those albums wasn’t to see where you ranked them but to make the point that there are a lot of classic or GOAT contender albums just through 95 (I was listing them chronologically) for ATLiens to be on a top 5.
