I never buy the age excuse for the new generation. Cats like Outkast and Nas were dropping classics at ages 18-21. Rakim changed the whole game at 17 years old

I was getting close to being the old " back in my day"...then you just realize it is what it is and nothing stays the same and hip hop is just starting to get older and branch off in to "sub-genres"... So this stuff that's popular today may be off putting to someone like myself ...but hip hop is the no.1 music in the world and I'm all for that
