ryan played well besides the pick (on which roddy slipped) and that terrible fumble. it was nothing *impressive* but a qb doesnt need to be impressive to play well.

he was torching us by making all the right reads in the first half. I do think thats its much easier to let that beastly receiving core do a lot of work by catching some of those balls but still. he did his job.

finding a better qb than him in the draft to start right away is tough, if not impossible.

Anyone who can throw a football is just about as good as Ryan at this point.

The Falcons' window is closed. Time to let a QB work his way up for a few years here, then start over.

You just said Ryan wasn't that good. So why would it be hard to find another one that will be just as good from the start?

And you just don't want us to blow it up yet so the 49ers can roll over the NFC South with ease next year and get the #1 seed.
