Moorish influence was from a standpoint of enlightenment, AA influence Was not. AAs have made amazing contributions but it was never from a position of dominace.

The name isn't cemented as I'm no one. It was more the suggestion being made that black people must name our selves.

I had an Afro on and kept the name on thecoli. A background of black/African roots born, raised in the Western Hemisphere or the "New World" vs the "Old World".

We are living in a "New World" technologically, socio-culturally for good (a lil bit) or bad (quite a bit of bad).
