Is he white or black? Listened to the album and was wondering the whole time.
He's white. Logic is a good rapper, better than most but it's insulting to me as a black man to see him blatantly capitalizing off the racial climate with this shtick. Joe Budden played a snippet of one if his songs off the new album on his podcast and I was disgusted. The hook went something like "Black People are beautiful" and I think in the verse he says he has a cousin named "Keisha" to sort of justify his blackness. I admit I have not heard much of Logic's work prior and maybe a Logic fan can answer this, but has he emphasized his so called plight to this degree before ? Because it seems he's capitalizing off the popular race issue that's now become click bait for everything.

On the song you're talking about he says:

"I'm just as white as that Mona Lisa, I'm just as black as my cousin Keisha, I'm bi-racial so bye Felicia"...

Some black folk claim bi-racial people, some don't. Either way, however you feel about it doesn't change what his experience is as someone who is bi-racial. That's not him exploiting the racial climate, that's him speaking his mind. I mean god forbid somebody say "black is beautiful" on a song that's gonna be played on the radio.
