NBA needs to get rid of the max contract concept. Like someone said any RFA with potential is getting 20 million a year. Let franchise players get their REAL value and we'll see how quick third options and specialists get overpaid.

this type of thinking is how you end up like NFL Players. contracts worth less than toilet paper besides the guaranteed money

I'd rather a system like NBA, MLB where u see guys outta nowhere getting paid. is it a concidence they are the strongest unions and the NFLPA negiogated the worst collective barganing agreement ever? plus, stars like Steph, Lebron, KD, Kobe are getting their $$$ via endorsments breh. let everybody eat. makes the whole union stronger

The guaranteed money issue in the NFL hurts them more than the cap with no max. Baseball has no cap so teams can buy chips if they wanted. I think if the NBA wants parity that's the way to go because as long as dudes who never realized their "potential" or specialize in one facet get maxed out teams will never be built to encourage parity which is what brehs on here always say they want.

Max players can carry their team to multiple wins by themselves throughout the season. Otto Porter is a 3rd option guy at his best.

A max player is when a team is willing to give a max contract. I have no idea what you are taking about. Your logic is not based on anything on why NBA GMs offer max contract for

Im sorry.. sometimes you gotta let these players just go. No way he is Max anything and I really like Otto. He is a role player not a Max. And the dumb ass Wizards gonna do it. You can get 2 or 3 players for his deal if this is legit. You gotta make your bench deep Wizards

Ernie Grunsnikka is the man yo, he has a way of paying people less than they're worth.
With that said, the media created this story. Reality is John Wall makes his teammates better, Garret Temple has a NBA career now, Trevor Ariza who is a very decent player was considered below average after he left LA (at least on this site) Paul Pierce was a factor while here at the age of 67, Ramon Sessions appeared to be THE shyt while he was here. What I'm trying to make clear here is Otto isn't quite there yet but could be. I expect we offer him somewhere in the 80mil range if we wanna keep him. I hope Bradley and John decide to take less money overall so we can pay the players we already have.

Unlike Cleveland, we don't need help. Just continuity :francis:
