Dwight is a PF in DRob and Ewing's era. They would eat D12's lunch, dinner, and breakfast. :obama:

They are both saying what I would expect any competitor to. Dream team was more well rounded IMO and would be able to play pretty much any kind of game. This team is too
thin inside. Also it cant be overstated that everbody on the DT was in their prime except magic and bird. I would say that only bron, melo, tyson, maybe kd are are for this squad.

No they wouldn't have. Kobe in his prime is a notch or better below Mike in his prime. More importantly though, that Redeem Team only had one true big man in Howard. No disrespect to Bosh and Boozer, but they're not guys that dominate the paint. Not only did the Dream Team have Ewing and Robinson, they also had Barkley and Malone. Howard gets in foul trouble an the Redeem Team gets murdered on the inside. They would've lost by 15-20 under nba rules.

They wouldn't be playing under nba rules:mjpls:

Who said anything about him being better? My 1st post said that Dwight would have the paint sewed up on D. My next post said they(Ewing and Robinson) had never played a Center as athletic as Dwight. My last post said the Robinson wasn't half the athlete Dwight is.

1st post is debatable. 2nd post is the truth, as I said, they hadn't played Shaq at that point. The last post is again debatable.

So where did I say that Dwight was better than Robinson overall or even imply he was better defensively? This was never about Dwight's defense vs David's defense, this was Dwight's defense vs Ewing and Robinson's offense. I said he was more athletic and would give Ewing and Robinson TROUBLE on D.

lol at your knowledge being so limited.

that shaq in his early years used to get owned by the admiral and ewing.

they used to pick his bones clean.

only reason ewing stopped owning shaq was age and health.

the admiral always owned shaq.

go back and look it up.

this was also before shaq,..so that means they would have been een more dominant.

as shaq presented no puzzle for them to stop And neither would dwight coward.

who has no real offensive game,..dwight howard is michael cage offensively, out on the post/block.

also,...you nikkaz really think mj and magic in the back court.

could not just bball iq, bron and kobe who have problems beating zone d.

when mj, magic and bird were the highest reputable zone busters in college for that era.

plus pip could have Held down bron,..

plus malone would have had kd in foul trouble, off physicality alone.

kd was not going to stop malone offensively, from the turnaround/triple threat or face up At all. especially if we go by how bron abused him.

when malone was way sicker in the post than bron.

plus his turnaround was money like ewing's waa then.

the dream team could have utilized all types of defensive matchups, too.

magic could have switched off on kd and gave him hordes of issues on d as well.

plus it was international and the dream team could play zone.

if they wanted and feast on the bball iq low era 2008 or 2012 team.

no way in fukk'n hell!!

would the low bball iq 2008 or 2012 team beat the original dream team.

I see its a lot of cats in here born in the late 80's/early 90's. Nothing wrong with that, but do the history. The OG Dream Team's front court ALONE should end some of these ridiculous statements. Let's also throw in the fact how much more of a physical game it was at that time as well. Most of the players now are terrycloth soft lol

also,..real talk!!!

if stockton was healthy...

he had enough dirtiest player in the game slick.

to frustrate cpiii all day long on d.

plus with malone run a damn bball iq clinic on the low bball iq 2008 or 2012 team.

cpiii would not be able to hang with a heAlthy stockton either.

stockton was the dirtiest defender in the game.

he would have held cpiii's short around the pick and role.

so the ref never saw the shyt and frustrated cpiii to high hell.

ask gary payton how long it took him to figure out.

let alone finally get the best of stockton...that is a damn fact.

also bron had a hard time in shoot out'a with piru.

bird would have caused similiar problems and been wreaking havoc as well.

nikkaz are sleep on what bird and stockton were about.

i watched both those dudes snatch dreams away and make nikkaz cry.

i seen the jazz beat the bulls down ten wih eight seconds left in regulation, off all stockton in the other garden the delta center.

so real talk,..intangible wise the dream team was infinitely better as well.

none of these new players had the slick the dream team had for starters.

In that Dream Team doc, they stated how the select team beat them in that scrimmage because they "exposed" them with a quick point guard...BOBBY HURLEY. If Bobby Hurley exposed them, imagine what Russell, CP, and DWill would do against them.

it was implied that Chuck Daly used shytty rotations and intentionally benched MJ longer than usual to light a fire under their asses. Then don't forget the played a lil later and blew them out by 60 :pachaha:
