but i will say that lumping mexicans with cubans and colombians (traditionally more republican than other hispanics) is bullshyt.

some things to consider:

-mexicans were the second most lynched group of minorities after black people
-mexican had ongoing tension with whites since the 1800s
-mexicans were also segregated when it came to residence,jobs,education . . wasnt the same as jim crow, but to say that we somehow allied with cacs is laughable at best

so all you fake militants show the receipts to the following claims or you talking bullshyt

"they support white supremacy"
"they dont support us, we always support them"
"they let us do the hard work when fighting against white supremacy"

Where in Latin America they created caste systems that further divided and marginalized black to the lowest form. So mixed raced people were separated from the Afro Latino community. So you basically have multiple groups enforcing white supremacy and marginalizing the Afro Latino community. It is more racist and it's why you barely see Afro Latino representation and why the community is economically, socially and politically disenfranchised.

Yeah we live in a complex racial caste system now. The biracal system of white or black has benefited black Americans far better than Afro Latinos. My fear is the ideology of white supremacy and that caste system that is prevalent in Latin America will become the new norm. I don't want that. @DarianaGrande i understand that there is bad blood between some black and mexican people, and there are mexicans that are racists, could be due to white influence both here and in mexico.

now, i cant speak for anywhere else in the country because i just dont know, but i can tell you from first hand experience that mexicans in yonkers ny, (where im origianlly from) some black people (mostly gangbangers) left a bad first impression on recent immigrants
back in the mid 80s when mexicans started to appear in yonkers, they would get robbed after coming home from work, the gangbangers would wait every friday or saturday (pay day) and since mexicans usually got paid in cash, they was easy licks.

that was a major reason for the beginning of mexican gangs in that city, it began as groups of friends and relatives that would go out in groups so they wouldnt get robbed while coming home from work.

in my neighborhood alone there were constant fights between mexicans and bloods, latin kings. usually because they would try to rob mexicans. so in 2004 the Eses organized and made it official, they started bangin on bloods and P.R.s as a unified force and kicked them out permanently
by now the new generation was composed of kids that had been born here, so it was nothing to spend time in jail for assault (without fear of being deported)

this is just my experience, i cant speak for other regions, in this case black gang members decided to target non english speaking immigrants to rob them, and like i said, it left a bad first impression for some mexicans encountering black people for the first time

now to be clear, black/mexican dating/marriage is a thing here, me myself, i have nothing against black people, ive meet black people that were rude, and trashy (just like ive meet mexicans that were rude and trashy) but ive also met black people that were more helpful than my own kind, nice, genuine, when cacs and even other hispanics didnt want to fukk with me for whatever reason, it was almost always a black person that took the time to help me out and teach me the ropes, thank you black people for keepin it real and being a friend
