I just looked at all the new "features" Seems cool...its an update. Nothing has really been "revolutionary" like Apple loves to throw out there since Tiger IMO.

Gatekeeper is showing where apple is heading, they are going to close Mac OS XI completely to only allow for things downloaded from the app store to run.

Will probably install it next week.

You can turn that off or Control+Open something to get around that. I could see why they have that implemented. Helps all the dumbass people downloading random bullshyt & keeps them out of their stores for "repairs"

loving the notification center. and safari isnt bad. they really needed that integrated search though, one of the best things about firefox

im a little heated at how buggy airplay is though...i was able to play a little bastion last night but the sound didnt come through...

10.8.1 looks like it fixed my battery, thank god. 9 hours left on wifi & full brightness

You know Apple is about to close that OS off even more. They want to completely control the experience and make money off each single paid app. Microsoft is trying to encourage people to buy stuff through their marketplace as well...they are both going head to head to completely control the "experience" which is money for those who don't know any better.

I say in 2 years Mac OS will be completely closed off and you will have to download everything through the app store (I say a major UI update is due soon). Most won't care, they will just "Jailbreak" their mac

Been using this in a Virtual Machine for a month I prefer Lion think I'm gonna go back to that.
