Brothers right now can go make videos in their car and backyard and get a following. Angry car rants been making people into brands for 10+ years and still do to this day. Then they can chop up their videos on TikTok . Then check their analytics, be interactive(stream for donations)and eventually invest into an actual nice setup and pay an editor if the numbers look good. I seen a couple lapeef dudes go from struggling last year to now 1k+ live viewers at around 15k-20k followers. And they get nice donations. You don’t need to have 100k-million subscribers anymore. Even a Tekken streamer I been following had a slow start but he keeps grinding and he’s getting better concurrent viewers, but his tech is bad, thumbnails kinda iffy and kind of disorganized when talking. But if he switches up how he presents it he’ll do better

This situation, among a few older examples, showcase how much black people are lacking when it comes to YouTube. I've talked about this in the Corey Holcomb 5150 thread years back how nikkas don't take shyt seriously and try to get by doing the bare minimum
You got nikkas that have had trash audio for years, technical issues because they don't want to learn the software or hire a tech assistant, no experimentation, not deep diving into their analytics and on and on. When their audience calls them out or offers suggestions the hosts get defensive and fall back into that "this that real shyt we don't need all that fancy bullshyt to deliver this GAME"
and the black YouTubers that do have success usually plateau because they were just chasing the algorithm with no real direction, over spamming clips trying to squeeze every penny out of the content they could(Math Hoffa

Rather than complain about stuff we already know it's time to just game the algorithms and utilize the same formula to success that Kevin Samuel's use to net him a million plus subscribers.
Cause i regularly see black youtubers now that have a 500k - 1 million plus subscribers that are doing fairly well so obviously the success is there for black content creators. it's just some of us are just lazy and content not knowing that we could do 10 times better than what we're doing now.
Jason black basically explained that they knew how to game the algorithms to get their content to the top of this search feed whenever you look for it on youtube even when you're not looking for it on your recommendations or on your home screen. Also there are a lot of things that go with YouTube when it comes to making money off of it such as making sure content is ready to be monetized and all of that.
But yeah...rather than complain about how the game is played...play the game before the game plays you.
