The Big O didn't mention Draymond's defense, because he knew that Draymond was not at the same level defensively as guys like Rodman, Pippen, Olajuwon, Robinson, Ewing or Jordan. He said that he was a good passer though. To only one player, but he is a good passer. :unimpressed:

That's the reason?

Dray has won DPOY. Pippen, Robinson, and Ewing haven't.

.they gave this guy too much credit talking about he can guard this legend and that legend.

Validated him with money but traded klay away...

Facts 100%.

He's a self-important role player that they didn't "need", but because of the way Kerr wanted to run things, they got max use out of him.

Curry elevated him. 2022 showed they never needed Dray.

A lot of these older/still active players are trying to be the Millenials answer to Charles Barkley. Problem is that Charles is actually funny....AND....Charles was ALWAYS opinionated. He didn't wait until all the skins were on the wall to start yapping.

Charles will also call ANYONE out, even MJ. Dray is the type to punch down but he won't go at someone that can put the screws to him.

Draymond wouldn't have won DPOY in the same era as Jordan, Rodman, Olajuwon or Eaton either. Here is an interesting stat. There have only been 3 players in NBA history with 200 steals and 100 blocks in the same season. They are Pippen, Olajuwon and Jordan did it twice. Yeah Green is not that level of a defender, but he is OK for his era because all that he has to do is stand out by the 3 point line. But he is a good passer. To one guy, but yeah he is a helluva passer to that guy.:unimpressed:

It’s a travesty that Pip and D Rob never won.
Yes it is. That was a tough era with guys like Eaton, Alvin Robinson, Isaiah Thomas, Joe Dumars and guys like that around. Ron Harper was a very good defender in Cleveland too. It is crazy to think that Pippen retired as the all times steals leader in the playoffs at 395. That record was finally broken a little while back by Lebron James.

so? duncan never won DPOY, AD never won DPOY

The whole point is this has not been the first time Oscar has tried to diminish Draymond's importance. That's just weird to me. I don't think Oscar would have just talked about Duncan and AD's offensive play, but we'll never know until a clip of him talking about them makes social media and goes viral.
None of what you all are saying is necessarily false. I'm just not going into First Take mode. Oscar's hate for Draymond is just weird to me lol. That's it

I think O don’t like Dray and is perhaps tired of his mouth/antics.

You obviously don't watch the Warriors play if this is your take. He's a generational defender And every bit as effective as Rodman. And he's been one of the best rim protectors in the league at his height. Some simple research will disprove everything you've said
