He offered Lil Kim $5000 to do an interview during the height of whatever "beef/issues" she had with Nick Minaj. Idk it sounds like Orlando Brown may have had a deal with him in place where he'd get paid if it hit a certain view count or something?

If that's the case than hell yeah he should be upset and take action

In turn Tom gets to promote his new movie to the millions of people that tune in to Conan every night regardless of who is on the show

Picture Tom or the movie studio charging every outlet for an interview with Tom during the promo run

With rap, it used to be a free pr campaign your draw garnered you in the media.
Yet that was before the big boom of hip hop taking over marketing through Leo Burnett.
So, now you have outlets who target the culture and then use it and b*stardize it.
which falls into the arthouse vs the culture of hiphop range of dialogue.

Rap should have actually started making people pay us for pr when hip hop became the main component of marketing any and everything.
Yet since the culture was being splintered by culture thieves and sellouts for the puff/stout erroneously termed the gold rush.
Those types ruined the ability for the culture to capitalize at all.

The same way Star would get on the mic in 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2006 and constantly remind nyc hip-hop audiences that Trump took those ads out to bring back the death penalty for the Central Park 5, Star always labeled Vlad "The great exploiter".
