Be honest though, do Igbos share and market their traditional religion the way Yorubas do?Call me when they can properly incorporate all African mythos besides the Yoruba pantheons. Are the orisas the only African mythology these people know
I’m not even talking about Nigeria alone. From Ghana to Congo to South Africa to Benin people think all traditional African religions are some how interchangeable.Be honest though, do Igbos share and market their traditional religion the way Yorubas do?
People mostly know the Yoruba juju, because the Yoruba sell it openly. Other tribes juju is done in deep secrecy where nobody knows who participates.
I’m against them calling it mythology when it’s a religion that tens of millions of people still follow globally.
