You do err not knowing the scriptures nor the power of the Most High. The Israelites were the only ones required to keep the commandments. That is why they are harshly punished for worshipping other gods. It is clear throughout the scriptures that the other nations are allowed to worship idols because they have no covenants (agreement) with the Most High, therefore they are not punished for worshiping idols. In this current age, they are not required to worship the Most High. The reason the curses of Deuteronomy 28 (which included going into slavery by ships) was because they were worshiping the Gods of the other nations. Voodoo was one of the practices that they took a hold of that brought the great judgment of the slave trade on our people.
My man, you don't know the bible I see! Although I agree with what you pointed out about the curses, that was one meaning of the story. On a spiritual scale, it has deeper meanings. Notice how we both agree the serpent teachings were voodoo, and its why our people failed, its because the world was following the serpents teachings and that would ultimately lead to failure. Essentially the world is practicing the serpents teachings, and using it to fight each other. This is why the world is fukked up. Just like Adam, and eve(mankind) were warned why NOT to eat of the "tree of knowledge of good and evil", the day they do, its the beginning of their death. While the tree of life was the teachings of Christ which offered a way of living life of peace, and humility, which brings peace, and joy. The teachings of the serpent were selfish, and about the ego. BUT, the true Master can conquer both the "tree of life", and the "tree of knowledge of good and evil". BUT, that is the temptation, as the serpent used it to attract us to his teachings which were to be like GOD's, in other words an ascended MASTER! The Devil is subtle, and tempting
The teaching have dual meanings. And the story comes from much older texts then the bible. The teachings of the serpent, comes from the exercise, and manipulation of kundalini energy to alter your reality. Some call this path the left handed path. It can be very dangerous if you don't take it serious because you are playing with energy that reside in all of us. Its essentially magic or VOODOO. There are many ways to activate this energy, and harness it, but a lot of these ways tend to get people off track because they are pleasurable. Things such as sex, psychoactive plants, meditations, music, etc., ALL can be used to activate the energy.
What you are mentioning is "God" explaining what happens when you choose this path. The curse is not him being angry, they are the repercussions of accepting the serpent teachings. I see you are following the beliefs of the European Christians, and not the true meaning of the word. This is why the tree was called the "tree of knowledge of GOOD, and EVIL". What does a tree do? It gives fruit. Fruit is another word for knowledge. In other words the tree represented the serpents knowledge which bring death ultimately because you are playing with a force you are not meant to be doing.
I think you need to take a new look at the bible because if you didn't get that story, the other ones will go over you head BUT, the bible does write "He who has ears to hear, let him hear". In laymens terms, its saying the people who have the wisdom to understand, let them hear the word so they can study it, and grow in wisdom to have a better life.
