Its crazy that he was "Asleep" for the entire "Episode 7". R2D2 the character may not officially be dead but to Star Wars fans, he's gone. It's over. Peace Kenny. R2D2 really is now only a computer, andriod, robot where before he truely had the heart and soul of a human being inside of him. One of the greatest Sci-Fi characters ever. Honestly I always like R2 even more than 3PO, lol. I loved how R2 would always check him. He brough comic relief, sadness, adventure and even hope (The Leia Digital Projection). Him and 3PO are basically the narrators of the franchise if you think about it. Mind you Kenny did this without saying a single word of dialog. He also played an Ewok in the series as well as being in "Willow". But inside that machine he did an amazing job with not the greatest working conditions. There is no Star Wars without R2 so Kenny is a Legend. Oh yea, BB-8, you cool but don't get twisted, R2 is always Big Brother. There's a reason the first two characters you see in Star Wars are R2 and C3po.

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
I've been trying to think of my favorite R2 scene over the last 24 hours ad it comes down to three possible candidates:

1.)

His tug of war battle with Yoda.

2.)

Hitting the Ewoks up like ":ufdup:You gonna get this work!"

3.)

Going full :demonic: on two Super Battle Droids and then turning around to admire his handy work like "Burn motherfukker burn! :win:"
