Hands down my favorite and most listened to album of all time. I used to do cardio to it because it lasted about 45 minutes. I used to get my second wind once certain songs came on, lol. Such an incredibly cohesive body of work. Monch was on another level
his breath control is so insane. and he was a chubby dude with asthma killing it like that. good to see he got healthy and changed his life. he's still nasty on the mic.

I listen to "Bring it On" at least once a week

one of the greatest displays of lyricism ever

Rippin' shyt up at prime time I'm, Optimus Prime-time material
Imperial wizard of vocabularic havoc I eat MC's like cereal!
That's soggy, milky skills like Mister Miyagi
When it's foggy I release globby spits of remains of rappers in the lobby as a hobby

Above The Clouds
"Maintain" perfectly describes the everyday battle of young black men trying to make it....the first lines by Po are so powerful.

"I'm sitting at the edge of my bed and I'm fed
All the negative thoughts running straight through my head
Lights red, and I can't make moves, I work hard
And I thought it would have been nice to buy papa dukes some shoes"
