Hmm...not sure if this is a good look.
Weeds fell the fukk off after season 3, but those first 3 were perfect. OITNB is already showing signs of degraded quality. OITNB is already becoming a parody of itself with its sentimentality towards these women. First two season worked so well because you actually felt like there was still some danger to the characters....it still had that OZ element to it. Piper's transition to a gangsta ass chick has probably come too soon, or at least, it's too apparent. When she beat the shyt out of Pennsatucky, you FELT it. Now, she can't really shock me, and most of the characters can't. Show has gone from character driven to plot driven and unless they bring in some new blood, I'm not sure if they can't get back to where they were.
The only character in season 3 that felt like his personality and emotions were driving things was the Warden. He had growth, and we learned new things about him in an organic way. I also liked (I believe it's Cindy, but excuse me if I'm mistaking characters) little storyline about becoming Jewish. Pennsatucky also had a lot of growth, even though it took a rape storyline to get there. Aside from that though, I was kinda "ehh" on it.
