Goldberg probably gets mistaken for Stone Cold more than he gets recongized as Goldberg.

Goldberg hasn't been out in the public in over a decade. He'll only be recognizable to hardcore wrestling fans. Even when he joined the WWE in 2003 it had been nearly 3 years since he last wrestled.

Austin is still popular because of the podcast and he still acts in movies (mostly straight to dvd mostly).

He did commentary for multiple MMA promotions, hosted a show on Speed Network for 3 years, was in a few movies including The Longest Yard, hosted another show for a few years on DIY, was on The Apprentice, been on shows like Desperate Housewives and Law and Order. It's not like he just vanished.

If Goldberg went to WalMart it would be bonafide mayhem.

Goldberg will draw because his character and main draw was built as the most dominant physical champion of all time.

Backed by the best ring entrance for a beast competitor as a draw with big gold as well.
If booked properly with out WWE cheese surrounding it,...
It will do well,...
Book it with draw normalizing cheese WWE buries superstar Billy graham mixed with attitude meets puke fest aggression era crap and you get warrior returns clique rules marketing trash and it isn't supposed to be good damn it retorts internally from Connecticut via the McMahon's.

* post six weeks after the brand split and watch WWE fukk it up.
If Goldberg comes back and it is not cena v berg for the title feud.
Ending at mania with berg with berg over in damn near mania acceptable as a squash quick finish,...it will not work as a comeback.

No, mania storybook now Goldberg positive reaction to a boom.
Anything else is unacceptable and WWE would fukk it up like they always do other than Daniel Bryan and aj styles.

Stone Cold is still popular because..he's Stone Cold. It has nothing to to do with the podcast  He was the biggest star when wrestling was at its apex.

LOL@dudes thinking no one would recognize Goldberg. Same crazy shyt they said when the "What if Sting"s music hits on Monday" thing kept popping up....only Daniel Bryan and Rock returns were bigger and louder. The Monday Night War stuff is no joke..Batista has NEVER been more over than Goldberg:laugh:

He had a short run but people would recognize him instantly although they might not remember his name.
