Opening segment on TNA was the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen

How dare TNA try to add some realism to their product. Don't they know you're supposed to open a show with one of your top guys making bad jokes for 15 minutes and acting like a 14-year old kid that just hit puberty

*Bully calls Jeff on him chillin' in the cut*

Jeff: Let the fans decide :manny:

Kurt: You think you deserve a shot because you're Jeff Hardy? Cuz everybody loves Jeff Hardy, really? :stopitslime:

Jeff: Yeah it works for me. Your son loves me :smugfavre:

:deadrose:

:lolbron: that was funny

the segment came off pretty nice imo, a bit over the top at some parts tho

...nikka, if that's realism to you it must take wrestlers metamorphosing in the middle of the ring to make you call bullshyt

nobody in their right mind says things like "I could intimidate you if I wanted to!"

haven't watched TNA in a while but just watched the link and the Opening was pretty damn good imo. :manny:

What the fukk happened to Bubba Ray Dudley  He OWNED that fukking room,he had the best promo. Kurt and Hogan were good, Jeff with the subtle ether, and AJ Styles still sucks at promos.

Cause those are the only two options? Junior high jokes or Real Housewives of the Impact Zone?

AJ was obviously the odd man out. Great in-ring performer but dude obviously can't hang with promos. He's a fathead too. :lolbron:

It was alright. They could've done without the background music though.

That's the only part that bothered me. WWE has done that weird shyt before too with Kane and whatever. It really drives home the fact that you're watching just another TV show.

The best thing about that segment? It put over Roode and he wasn't even there. :win: He's got Hogan & Dixie so shook they are conspiring with TNA's top stars to end his Selfish reign. :boss:

Lol I know they finally got rid of him but that's a Russo staple, talking about "the script" on camera and then saying they're throwing it out so now its REAL :ohhh:

:heh: Its not insulting the viewers' intelligence when the viewers are dumb enough to enjoy it though :yeshrug:

Didn't you start watching wrestling again because of Punk's "pipe bombs", which were essentially him breaking the fourth wall and admitting the show was scripted?

:umad:

Yeah and that was something new and interesting, had the pro wrestling world buzzing because it was the right way to do that sort of thing. Not some random voiceover announcing Goldberg "refused to follow the script" or any of the other dozens of similar Russo trademark stunts. This wasn't even that, though. This was different...like I said, Real Housewives of the Impact Zone. They got the camera angles down, the background music/sound effects for dramatic emphasis lol.

I mean I guess its better than what they were doing before :manny: Is this how they're gonna do all the backstage segments now?
