So to summarize the comments this thread, after game 1, the Lakers need to:

Fire their coach
Throw their offense in the bushes
Trade their PG
Get rid of their PF and backup point guard
Have Kobe handle the ball and shoot 40 times a game

THAT'S THE ENTIRE POINT. We should not be running this offense in the first place.

What offense can you run? You can't run uptempo. Only Dwight is effective in that. Don't say Kobe because he's not an uptempo player. In fact, Kobe looked good in this offense as did Gasol. Nash was the killer. He was getting raped out there on defense and wasn't effective on offense. The Lakers look better with Duhon or Blake. Nash isn't a half court player but his personnel is all half court. Dwight can do both. Nash has to go. The Lakers need a Jameer Nelson at PG, not Steve Nash.
