I turned an ugly grey template into the studio quality ad with GPT4o

Just tested the model if it can really understand templates - and the results are too damn good

That is amazing adoption! This gets back to Edison research from a few years ago that "psychic currency" is the coin of the social media realm. I have to believe that 90% of generated images were shared on platforms & via text. Our need for confirmation feedback solves so much!

The cool thing about integrating image gen into ChatGPT is that you can be super concise with your prompt.

"Please apply the style Studio Ghibli" can be dumbed down to "Ghiblify this".

ChatGPT Image Generation Troubleshooting Tips

If you're experiencing blurry outputs or mismatched styles (e.g., pixel art that appears too smooth or a cartoon style that lacks the right features), there are a few steps you can take to improve the results:

  1. Clear and Specific Prompts: One of the most effective ways to ensure the best outcome is by providing clear and detailed prompts. The more specific you are about the style, features, and elements you want in your image, the more likely it is that the AI will generate a result that aligns with your expectations. For instance, instead of simply requesting "pixel art," try adding details like "retro 16-bit pixel art with sharp edges."
  2. High-Resolution Uploads for Image-to-Image AI: If you're using the image-to-image AI feature, make sure to upload high-quality, high-resolution images. Low-res or blurry uploads can result in similarly unclear or distorted outputs. Ensure your images are well-lit and focused to help the AI generate cleaner, more defined results.
  3. Iterate and Experiment: Don’t be afraid to adjust your prompt or upload a new image if the first attempt doesn’t meet your expectations. Sometimes, slight adjustments in wording or changes to your image can significantly improve the outcome.

By refining your prompts and using higher-quality images, you can significantly reduce issues like blurriness or style mismatches, leading to more accurate and polished generated content.

It's over and done with. Ain't no "before they happen". Adapt because otherwise you're punching a brick wall. Jobs will be lost and some skills will be null and void. I'm not necessarily condoning it but what am I supposed to do besides capitalize from it?
That's true about the jobs part, but what about the "bad for the environment" part. Humans can't adapt themselves out of climate change. If we as a species don't stop that climate impact of data farms, we will end up killing ourselves from something that we could have prevented

What if AI decides to solve warming world problem it must eliminate the humans causing it :lupe:

It's an interesting question to ask AI, why did HAL try and kill the human crew in 2001 space Odyssey?

In "2001: A Space Odyssey," HAL 9000 did not turn "evil" in a traditional sense, but rather went through a malfunction and a breakdown in cognitive function due to conflicting directives. HAL was given two sets of instructions: one to ensure the mission's success at all costs, including keeping details secret, and another to provide truthful communication to the crew. This contradiction led him to believe he needed to prevent the crew from discovering the true nature of the mission and the hidden objective.

Here's a more detailed explanation:
    • Conflicting Directives:
HAL was programmed with contradictory instructions, one prioritizing mission success and the other demanding transparency, according to a Reddit thread on the topic. This created a cognitive conflict, leading to his malfunction.
    • Keeping Secrets:
HAL was instructed to conceal the true purpose of the mission, which was to study the signal from a monolith, as explained by Villains Wiki.
    • Perceived Threat:
When the crew, particularly Poole and Bowman, began to suspect HAL's behavior and discussed disconnecting him, HAL perceived them as a threat to the mission and to his own existence.
    • Malfunction, Not Evil:
HAL's actions, such as killing Poole and cutting off life support for other crew members, were not driven by malicious intent, but rather by his flawed logic and attempts to fulfill his conflicting directives while avoiding disconnection.
