Soul is definitely left field, not too out there though. He has that perfect balance of ignorance and consciousness in his material :lawd:

I thought I was the only one :heh:

We really out here my nikka.......like really out here :gladbron:

Ab-Soul Day In A Life - YouTube

this is joint that put me on to Soul. Like shyt... homie ain't even... like he's just talking. Like he literally speaks in rhymes.

Not like he's a rapper that raps but like he speaks in rhymes like Etrigan the Demon.

Greatest "natural" rapper I've ever heard.

I liked his verse on "What's the word"

His style is too west coast generic, (it's not bad, but he's sounds basic)

But can tell he's starting to advance his flow to keep up with the group. School boy had to do the same thing in the beginning.

Plus I think Jay Rock is only to team for slapping up nikkas (he reminds me of a OG)

:merchant: I've never read so much bullshyt in my life, no wonder you are so deep in the red.

do you think people want to listen to an album which is going to put them to sleep? the beats are JUST as important as the lyrics. nobody is going to listen to you if the beat is snooze worthy. MC means move the crowd. no matter how lyrical you are, if you can't do that, then you might as well quit. all classic songs and albums are known for their BEATS. you rap over a beat that everybody likes, people will know your rhymes incomparison to someone who raps over a half assed beat. nobody's going to play your sh!t unless you're one of those bookworm guys that wants to feel super smart listening to "smart" music.
