the mavs are the team that's plateaued for years and swapping out mid supporting casts every chance they get :dead:
His take wild, dudes be having unrealistic expectations for gms. got a team full of rookies and sophomores and expect them to make wcfs :deadrose:, when historically young teams suck. If we make the 2nd round it's a success, you find out what you need in off season

This has been my take basically the entire season, since they were the 1 seed fairly deep into the season, that they should trade for a solid big cause their team was too small to make a real championship run
We'll just agree to disagree
Idc if the team is young, they're a fukking 1 seed, there's no reason not to go all in for a title run when you're the damn 1 seed

like lets say okc isn't actually worth the 1 seed and they're massively overperforming - which is actually fair fr

why pull an atlanta hawks/cleveland cavs just to chop the legs off your own rebuild and flexibility. more rebuilds are fukked up by shortsightedness than injuries and that's always been the case

with the resources and time they have, they'll be able to find much better bigs than gafford is all im saying. their offense only works the way it does because opposing teams can't even switch at 5

say sac decides to blow it up - okc wouldn't even lose sleep trying to find a package for sabonis. that's the kind of position they're in right now

Some of these bums aren't gonna keep making playoffs every year. They should treat this like an opportunity and ball out. Dudes look like shyt like they can't wait for a vacation to kick in.

Their whole plan is "I hope three pointers are falling this time"

There is a reason, having a slow ass center changes the entire team. fukk a big someone like mikal bridges is what we need. Grab a back up or a regular ass center thru the draft/free agency, not taking up significant cap space with outdated team model

Especially when a previous OKC team made the Finals in 2012 when the avg age of that roster was like 25.

i feel bad for pelicans fans because if they somehow do make the playoffs, zion's fatass will never be healthy enough to play in it.
damn shame.

Play-in was made to shoehorn Zion into the playoffs and he has yet to play a playoff game. Only played one single play-in game, and the Pels have played a bunch of them

I think we overperformed a bit, I'd rather not waste assets and capspace without knowing how the team actually performs in the playoffs. Like you said teams like the cavs/atl fukked up their flexibility going for homeruns
