A lot of coli posters need to not be able to make threads. Literally needing a blunt or drink is called addiction. The vast number of people that utter the phrase I need a drink or I need a blunt are not suffering from addiction. They merely don't walk through life making sure to not mix up figurative/hyperbolic and literal phrases because normal human beings aren't sitting around dissecting every fukking thing that people say. The average person working 9-5 that says to one of his coworkers "Let's hit the bar for happy hour after work, I need a drink" isn't going through withdrawls at that very moment. He'd like to unwind after a long day's work.

Insecurity runs rampant in our society when people need to validate themselves by tearing down their fellow man. That's the true sign of mental weakness right there. It's painfully easy to point out those that aren't comfortable in their own skin.

exactly.. but fukk it let em think he is special cause he doesnt say wants in such a way

The thread is only valid if the the Threadstarter has dealt with every life adversity.

But, since he has no idea what people go through and are going through. This thread is dumb as fukk

I've probably lost more family members to death than anybody on this board. It still never drove me to cope by using drugs or alcohol. A weaker person would have to get high or drunk to cope. Anybody can be mentally strong, we're all born that way. It's the individual that chooses to rely on a crutch.

Y'all have heard of Winston Churchill and Ernest Hemingway right? Guys who said "I need a drink" all the time. Not what I would call weak minded people. Matter of fact, alcoholism is especially prevelant in academia. Lot of smart people have a bottle of Jack in their desk drawers.

There's the physical addiction which is unhealthy and then there's the "Damn this is some dumb shyt right here, lemme get a sip real quick" deal.

You come from a long line of fatties. I bet you got a touch of the sugar, huh?

Fat people need to STFU and stop eating so much.

I drink to cope with things, all the time. Does it make me weak? Maybe...I rather get drunk or use drugs than abuse the people around me mentally with a holier-than-thou attitude and mental abuse because I'm not coping with things at all(not at TS, just shyt I've seen people do). What's with all the hubris in this thread? Motherfukkas aren't perfect, you're human.

The thread starter snacks to cope and is most likely a fat chick that goes to church.

:what:

Ernest Hemingway blew his brains out. Lol if that isn't "weak" I don't know what is?!

Being smart is relative to the person judging and their level of intelligence. A lot of my professors in college smoked cigarettes. I'd say they were knowledgeable in their crafts but "dumb" overall. Weak also. :youngsabo:
