Dame Lilliard dropped an album. And even tho he’s an NBA player its a decent project.

Leon Thomas - Electric Dust

Mike Jenkins - The Patience

It don’t have to be well known artists.

I used to come here to check for what’s out. But it’s barely anything sticked up top anymore (pause).

Did sexxy red drop an album yet?

Quavo
Mick Jenkins
EST Gee
Travis

So anything new should be stickied? Is there even conversation about most of these albums? Also, besides Travis most of these artists flopped.

So what you're asking for is threads for artists that nobody inside or outside of the coli listened to.

Nah and see my second reply but I don't think highlighting artists that don't get a lot of pub or coverage would be the worst thing.

I do think (especially when it comes to singles) having one thread with all the weekly tracks would be better than 30-50 new threads with 0 replies.

I don't know if that's gonna help discussion. Here's the issue.

1. There are a lot of posters here who are older now

2. Music at least in the mainstream is mostly bad

3. artists are mostly niche because of social media and streaming. There's not a lot of "stars" anymore.

Not sure what part you're replying to, as far as discussion I 100% noticed that many posters would rather go in to threads to shyt on music (and often stuff they knew they wouldn't like in the 1st place) then talk about what they do like. I guess I'm pro leveling the playing field even a bit and even though I know it's unrealistic.

The part about a weekly thread is more of a moderation issue.

Yep

There might be if their albums were stickied

Also, besides Travis most of these artists flopped.

Not really relevant to this discussion

Who cares what people outside of the booth listen to?

Sticky those albums, and there would be more discussion about it.

Registration needs to stay open while beefing up the moderation staff, but flabby and sick old heads with no friends would rather continue to chat amongst themselves because the sohh/coli legacy is all they have left to cling to in this world.

So instead of thoughtful, interesting discussion on new music we instead have hip hop is dead adjacent threads to go along with new threads about music from the 80s-90s DAILY

honestly I'm only here for the clowning in TLR atp

As a resident :flabbynsick: member. I used to come here to catch new shyt. I don’t have to be a music head like I once was. Or at all for that matter. This place use to be the new music plug.

I still fukk with 90’s hip hop but it’s always good to hear new music. But it seems this forum is only concerned about popular content.

Even thee podcasts only talk about pop shyt.
