See the problem is when people take it too seriously. Breeds violence.
People learn lessons from books and movies and other forms of entertainment without being threatened with damnation for eternity, so why in this day and age to we choose to believe it to be nonfiction?

Let's capitalize on that by creating a narrative that we control, making claims nobody can disprove. If we can get enough people to believe it, we can tame the masses and create a utopia for ourselves.
Wait now that I think about it, it probably didn't start out that way. People just shared theories on life and death. Then one day someone with an undiagnosed mental imbalance thought of a story to fill in the blanks of their knowledge of death. Going down that rabbit hole day after day crafting verses loosely based around their life observations and imagination.

I grew up going to church regularly but 20 years ago I stopped.
After years of feeling lost, I decided to reconnect with the teachings of bible and even had a Sunday Service show every sunday where I played Gospel.
