Paul's charge was to pronounce the Gospel to the world (Gentiles), that's why the Pauline epistles are so heavily read and followed. Notice that the twelve didn't stray from outside the confines of Israel at the time with their ministries.

Scripture is like a door, what you see through that door, is only known to you. What you take from seeing it and applying to yourself in your heart is only known to you.
