I weirdly love this movie and i can't explain why.

They're all sociopaths basically and there's no one you are going to root for.

I almost feel this movie was aimed at an asian audience.. and i dont mean the locale. I mean the punishing the westerners for being sex tourists and drug dealers and taking advantage of the local populace in general.

You said nothing in your post that profound. Ryan family was drug dealers who say hookers. They weren’t sex tourist. Not all westerners are sex tourist. You completely omitted the Australians and Europeans who go there for holiday and nothing more. You labeled a whole group as sex tourist with zero proof.

Dope film. Story ain't much but its just one of those 'mood' films, it gives you a really ill vibe to immerse yourself in. Neon Demon was enjoyable too.
