Shaq been a corny dude man. If he used to make jokes while he was playing and they sucked, why would TNT think he'd be funny on TV?

Shaq still needs work, and polishing. Especially when Barkley and others are talkin ahit about him. But nobody's perfect, and Shaq this year is still waaaay better than Shaq last year. Last year he wouldn't even let anyone else talk. Had to have the first last and every word in between. He's still a goof of sorts, but it's his second year, he's a big personality, and he'll get better.
Now Kenny... I think Kenny is getting worse. It's like he's trying to separate himself from Chuck, and dikkriding the hell outta Shaq.

Never really liked Kenny... dude just tries too hard to make his perspective the be all/end all despite the obvious flaws his logic be having. And he gets away with it because he's the most well-spoken guy on the show, excluding Ernie, so he rarely has to worry about facing a good counter-argument.
Its like, over the years, I've actually sided more with Charle's logic than I have with Kenny's but Charles just isn't as good at articulating his arguements whenever they do clash so Kenny often "wins"/comes out looking better more so by using ad hominems than actually having the better point.
I've always liked Chris Webber on the show but he's sort of a pacifist on there, basically the nice guy who tries to avoid butting heads with Kenny or Chuck and will be as careful/non-confrontational as possible whenever he does have to pick a side.
GP may have been my favorite guest analyst because he didn't give no fukks, he'd go toe-to-toe with Kenny, wasn't non-confrontational (like C-Webb) nor inartculate (like Chuck can be), and could still talk that smack right back at you. So I felt that whatever the topic, there'd be potential for some good back and forth debates.
I was hoping Shaq would be more like GP (or Jalen Rose), someone not afraid to speak his mind/disagree with the other guys while being able to hold his own in a back and forth... but he's kinda just there to be a comedian (at Chuck's expense) and is basically hit or miss.
i'm basing all this off of the tnt post game show over the past few years. I haven't had a chance to just watch the open court show they all do on nbaTV, so i dunno if things are different there.

This. Shaq is horrible. Go back to just the three of them. It's like everyone has to be on edge talking to Shaq because for as big as he is, he has the little man complex. And he doesn't bring anything as an analyst.
He's sensative and besides from his FT shooting he's never been truly criticized becuz so many people seem afraid to disagree with him. He comes off as a bully and he takes jabs at people who don't kiss his ass.
