I hate modern Black art with these overtly afrocentric, mother Africa themes. Why not just repurpose Nubian and other various Ancient African population's art?


I like modern Black artist who move outside of the realm of just depicting Black people. You don't have to overtly make your work about Black shyt if you're black, it's already implicit and a influence. You can't get away from the fact that you're Black and that it will effect EVERYTHING you will EVER do in life.
