Listening to the radio today you wouldnt know that there were NFL games yesterday. Seriously they are breaking down Alabama, Florida, Auburn, and Georgia's next games in detail. I havent heard shyt about pro football at all. The callers are talking about recruiting, this shyt is crazy, and its like this every damn year.

I dont think the rest of the country knows how big college football is down here. It dwarfs the NFL by a considerable margin.

Yep, people don't understand that Pro Sports as a whole don't really mean shyt down here.

In Georgia, the Bulldogs reign supreme so it leads people to say shyt like ATL is a bad sports town, when it really just isn't focused on pro sports like most other major cities.

Not in Louisiana. Most of the gulf coast is Saints territory. Southern Louisiana is LSU but most people are fans of both

and of course they wont talk about the NBA except to bash lebron, and they will only talk college ball when its tournament time
