Exactly. He's a great director, but maybe the only black character who doesn't get killed in some clownish way or called a n*gger is Ving Rhames in Bringing Out The Dead. Spike Lee could have turned some of that Tarantino hostility toward someone who doesn't routinely write good black characters. How are you going to hate on someone who created Jules Winnfield and Jackie Brown and then act like this dude making Anthony f*ckin Anderson the only black guy in The Departed is your best friend.
