Kendrick and Asap were already primed to blow. Snoop, Dre, and Game literally stood on stage and anointed Kendrick. Without Drake and that tour both of them would’ve been successful which is evidenced by neither of them working with him after their first albums

You cant say this because this never happened and they were with Drake at some point and even though Cole was established he still helped him get his first number 1 same with Travis.

From my experience: I'm from Canada in a small city, when I used to club every weekend up here. We used to get their bangers before Drake jumped on the remix or even Linked up with them.

Kendrick - had a following when he dropped section 80, most of the young hip hop heads that didn't rate future fukked with K. dot and TDE.

Rocky - Peso was playing in the club and every started calling themselves A$AP something lol.

Migos - Versace was playing in the club heavy.
Future - Racks, Tony Montana, magic, Same damn time, never end was getting mad sprints everywhere up here

Lil Baby - my dog, freestyle was getting played mad all the way up here.

21 Savage - red opps was a banger and I'd argue future and metro booming got bro to blow in Canada... internationally

Young Thug - Thug been had sounds, I'd say Gucci Mane brought him out.

But all in all, I'm not talking about #1 on the records or selling, Majority of their music was international without Drake's help. No lies tho, Drake's popularity brought these guys all out on another level that they probably have never touched. Eg Kendrick/Drake beef really helped Kendrick's Career.
