Japanese woodwork became very important to the national economy because Japan lacks good sources of iron. What other nations would do with metal beams and nails, Japan was forced to do with wood. They manufactured tremendous sums of strong wooden planks, but due to the explosion of Japan's electronics and automobile markets, huge stockpiles of rock solid wood had no interested buyers.

The Yakuza took advantage and obtained thousands of hectares of wooden planks at rock bottom prices. They then sold these products to the only industry that always needs to replace tables: Puroresu.

But the wrestling industry greatly underestimated the strength of these tables. They hardly ever break. Now, indebted to the dangerous Yakuza, they are forced to either stockpile thousands of lightly dented tables in Yakuza-owned warehouses.... Or import big fat Gaijin who can break them.

And that's why Albert went to Japan.
