Let me ask y’all nikkas a question. Do you think my boy should have just stayed in his whip instead of getting out at all?

You can’t say what he should’ve done. He did what he thought was right at the time. It doesn’t sound like he was being extra or did anything to deserve death.
I give drivers who appear to be in a rush to get to the next stop sign, the right of way and let them do what they feel they need to in order to get the fukk from around me. If someone’s decision making is that bad behind the wheel, I assume they don’t care about their lives or mine.
I’m not about to miss time with my family because some a$$hole can’t obey laws or be decent. Not my battle or my problem. If I’m ever in that situation, I’ll assess from my car before exiting and if I sense something is off, I’m dipping and dealing with the consequences later. Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
Cars bring out the worst in people
And in a nation where it is easier to get a gun than affordable housing you'll see more preventable tragedies like this
The other driver had a gun on him and chased down the other driver then fled the scene. This is an open and shut case as far as I'm concerned. That MF should never have a license and should be in jail or put to sleep for good.

First, RIP to your friend. I’m sorry for the pain you’re feeling in the wake of this tragedy.
As for your question, pardon me if I’m being too frank, but:
Your friend shouldn’t have been coming from a party in Brownsville at 4:00 in the morning. It’s time for us to start recognizing that certain places and situations are not safe because of the savage element that has been allowed to fester in our community.
And, yes, the person who did this to your friend is a savage. That individual is a feral beast whose temperament was no different than that of a rabid dog, only your friend would likely be alive had he stumbled upon the snarling canine.
Let me be even franker. fukk these savages in our community. It ain’t white people gunning black and brown people down by the day. It’s black and brown monsters whose only response to the slightest affront is to take the life of another black and brown person.
This behavior cannot be allowed to stand if we are to progress as a community, as a people.
It’s uncivilized.
Something needs to be done.
