no offense but you don't know what you're talking about. other than philly, ny, boston...dallas is the most cutthroat media market, on the same level as chicago. this is the same media market that destroyed smu football, birthed skip bayless, and shyt on the cowboys nonstop. all of the espn dallas guys are negative nancys. when was the last time jjt wrote a positive article? timmy mac is a bayless disciple. dale hansen vs jerry jones....randy galloway vs. jerry jones...richie from 105.3 has done nothing but drop hints that the cowboys locker room is dysfunctional. the little ball of HATE AKA jennifer floyd engel is one of the most negative columnists in the country. she got a national gig for her tabloid journalism. i could go on and on....the rangers are still considered the adorable little team from tarrant county but even they have been getting shytted on the entire 2nd half of the season.

Richie can drop hints everyday....but Jerry still comes on and talks w/ him and Greggo every week...as does Jason Garrett. Galloway can talk as bad about the MAvs or Rangers as he wants and Cuban & Carlisle come on there once a week......Nolan, same thing.

My point is, nobody is really getting fired or on the "hot seat" b/c of the media/fans here in Dallas like it is in other cities.

Rangers lost, and you wont hear much about after next Tuesday or so.

Buck took a gamble and won big with Saunders pitching this game. That Rangers struggle was real after all.

I need a pic of that white girl they showed with the ill struggle face as the O's celebrated.

that's b/c jerry could careless about what they say about him. the man has no feelings or shame about anything. but jerry is shat on 24/7/365 on every media outlet in the metroplex. 95% of the media is negative about the cowboys. like i said already the rangers were a cute story but they will start feeling heat right now. you're right nolan has some connections in the media. wash doesn't and isn't a nolan guy so he'll probably take the fall for this.

oh well at least josh gets more time to serve his lord.

It don't think it's the media. It's the weak fans in Dallas. Dallas teams have no home field advantage and people don't hold their players accountable like other cities.

Romo and Josh Hamilton walk around Dallas and people worship them.

Teams take on the mentality of their city. DFW people want to always make everything family friendly. DFW is the mecca for white conservative soccer Moms family. Dallas is not what it used to be, it have gotten soft. In the 70's - mid 90's, Dallas was a blue collar city.

I agree.
I said that above bruh. Athletes here are spoiled like no other city.

Players/teams get soft as a result.

chavez, oday, hunter, chrissy, teagarden, even buck all former rangers. :wow:

Only player we still have from that trade is Uehara. :heh:

Meanwhile, the guys we traded are key reasons the O's made the playoffs. :heh:

I did NOT want the Orioles.

They win close games. We can't come back and win close games.

They throw off speed stuff. We like fastballs.

First time in two decades they can say they have a closer better than ours.

They know us too well. Mark Reynolds abused us this season
