Remember Eric Johnson? Dude had two pretty good years for us fell off viscously when he went to the saints, think it was the saints anyway. Randomly remembered him when thinking about some of the old squads. Shout out to Ahmad Plummer and Terry Kirby as well.
Aw man feels good to be on the other side of the Tomsula fiasco. At least now we have a head coach. Is he the best head coach in the league or even in the top 10-12? Probably not if what people have been saying about his limited amount of plays for each formation is true and also not allowing audibles? What's the reasoning behind that? That's honestly hard to believe.

pretty much all those secondary players were average at best, and some were trash. schulters was the only one who got any burn after on the titans.
we aint had a good/great secondary in ages...
i wonder if the niners take a look at dion jordan once miami releases him. he was the third overall pick for miami, he was a 3-4 olb at oregon who was forced to play de in a 4-3 in miami. he might be a cheap option but a pr risk since he was suspended the whole year.

Won more games! Dude barely won only one more game than Kap.... barely cuz 2 of them games (Chicago & SL) were games where they (the opponents) themselves didnt want to win and did everything they could do to lose it and did. We was beat like 6 times. I think it was agreed upon before the season even start that the 1st half of the schedule was going to be the toughest part of our year and the latter part was relatively going to be a soft coast. Some even coined it "Murderers Row"
Kap played again 4 playoff teams and not just playoff teams but teams that were arguably the top 10 in the league...
excluding 2 of the same teams that Blaine played against and also lost to, he played Cincy.... and caught the L. so really only 3 playoff teams

Look I get your stance on how you and buddy feel like everyone is riding Kaep so yall go extra hard to shyt on him. But I think the main problem is yall go extra hard on ignoring all the problems or issues that lead to Kaep having a bad year. And on top of that, he wasnt the only one to have a bad year. If we want to be consistent then one would equally have to call out Hyde cuz other than one game he really didnt do much... matter fact all our RB's were terrible this year ( I know there were a lot of injuries but they wasnt exactly lighting it up consistently).
Also, after Kaep.... Torry Smith and Boldin our top 2 WR's numbers didnt exactly explode. Ok some other bench guys got a few catches.... so I guess that means Torrey and Smith dont deserve to be handed shyt either right?
If we are to judge consistently across the board.... maybe no one on the team not named Bowman deserves to be handed shyt

He doesn't use audibles because it slows down the offense. Plus, his QBs generally aren't required to read the defense pre-snap, so there's no real use for audibles. The limited play thing is again due to speeding up the offense. He wants players to execute the plays perfectly, and so he sacrifices playbook size for quality of execution. He stresses repetition in training camp and practices so the players don't have to think, just execute. The real chess match takes place between Chip and the opponent's DC.
