We hired Tomsula, almost anything is an upgrade from that.
Coughlin at least commands some respect as a future HOF, don't think it's going to lead us to any glory though.

They should pretty much just act like this season didn't happen and that there was no Tomsula, because that measure is setting the bar somewhere underneath the ground. Baalke and Jed are probably still salty as hell about how the whole Harbaugh situation played out, but the standard should still be Harbaugh as far as the quality of coach goes.
Not saying Coughlin isn't quality, but breh is going to be 70 when the season starts. How much time does he have left? Like, literally, how much time does he have left?

this is my issue, baalke's drafting is suspect as hell. while i don't think you give a coach with no strong track record in personnel full control, giving him a seat at the table WITH baalke is welcome by me. baalke needs to be challenged and definitely needs help with offensive picks. i'm really
