Their reputation isn't poor. They fukked up with Harbaugh yea obviously but everyone seems to think that Harbaugh is some huge a$$hole anyway who brought it upon his self. The 49ers are still top 3 most storied and successful organizations in the league.
And a guy like Hue should take the job that gives him the best chance to win regardless of the teams reputation because if he wins and they still do him dirty it would be seen as the organizations fault and not his and he will have other job offers, if he goes to Cleveland and tanks, not so much.

Who cares if a coach is an a$$hole? This is what I don't understand. I don't want a nice coach. I want a guy who wins. Harbaugh won. 9ers are a storied franchise that has an ownership and management that is not highly regarded. On top of that, the QB situation is up in the air too.

That's my point, I'm not saying harbaugh was an a$$hole or that I care if he was but I'm saying that's what I've heard most people think so that's why it hasn't effected the 49ers rep
