reports (not sure how accurate) are that Kaep has a dead arm...Id say if he doesnt play at all against the Broncos, Gabberts most likely to start the season.

Hope they didn't rush the recovery from his surgery :francis:
doctors cleared him to throw

from what I understand, its natural to happen after you dont throw much, kinda like if you stop going to gym for a few months or a year after going every few days.

so in fact they probably shouldve let him throw earlier

Why did you guys even sign Torrey Smith?

He's the most ill-fitting receiver for this offense...a deep threat in an offense that can't get the ball deep.

he was signed to help Kaep get a deep threat, back when Kaep was unquestionable starter.

the problem was, Kaep's downfield accuracy isnt that amazing and you cant go deep every play anyway. and then the whole Gabbert thing happened.

Torrey in general is overrated tho.

SANTA CLARA -- Quarterback Colin Kaepernick is experiencing what has been described as a “tired arm,” “arm fatigue” and a tight throwing shoulder.

But there is no indication Kaepernick is experiencing “dead arm syndrome,” which is defined as sensory reduction or loss in the arm as the result of a shoulder dislocation or subluxation.

I trust Maiocco more than I do Schefter :camby:

Wasn't the 49ers management upset last year because kaep decided to call it quits earlier in the season to have his arm look at and they wanted him to finish the season out even if he wasn't playing..

Then they wanted him to rush back to compete for the job ...

Not really, they kept telling him his shoulder was ok and he felt otherwise. Had it looked at by an outside source that's when he found out it was a fukked up as he thought and suggested that he have surgery. He never quit tho he was just playing poor and got pulled.

LOL no one wants these bums. I'd laugh at Baalkes face of he offered me Marcus Martin for anything. And Brandon Thomas played like 5 snaps in his career

Actually yeah it's "tired arm", ie like I said fatigue after not throwing for months. Don't know why Schefter called it dead arm lol

Yeah :heh: you want to see a dead arm, look at Peyton the past 2 or 3 years. That nikka biceps was wheezing anytime he threw it over 20 yards
